| Porcupine Hill is located in Eastern Ontario. We are about 50 minutes
from Ottawa International Airport. We purchased the farm in 1990, and in
1996 opened the stable.
In 1998, our business had grown so much that we added 6 more stalls in a second barn. |

In 1998, the "Annex", a small stable with three stalls, was approved as a quarantine facility, and we also use this small barn for overflow in the summer months. |
| Our facilities are very nice: the indoor arena is 70' x 180', and wired for sound. The outdoor arena is an all weather surface, well maintained. We also have a nice grassy area for riding, and even a few jumps. The stable has large stalls with rubber matting and windows. The barn is well ventilated and kept very clean. We use only the highest quality feeds and forage. Seven grassy paddocks allow us to provide individual turnout for all horses. | |

Porcupine Hill Dressage is owned and operated by Liz and Adam Steacie. Liz is an FEI level rider and trainer, with many top results, whose students have also had very good success in competitions. Liz continues to ride, train and compete, with several prospects and top level competition horses currently in work. Adam is a family physician practicing in Brockville.

The Steacie's two children, Aaron and Carolyn, attend local universities, but are often around at the farm, and Carolyn is frequently Liz's groom for competitions. (Aaron is not nearly so serious as he looks in the picture!) |

The family is rounded out by one Pembroke Welsh Corgi, a Himalayan cat and "Toed", whom we think is a cat, but he could be some wierd hybrid. The stable is kept mouse-free by our barn cats Siggy, Anky and Isobel. |

| We are very fortunate to have some amazing staff. Tracey looks after the barn for us during the week, while Ruth and Aliy share training and riding duties. Ruth rides horses that are in training here, while Aliy rides her own horse "Shaq", as well as some of the horses in training. Both Ruth and Aliy are active competitors, and can frequently be seen at the shows. Shannon is our "weekend girl", as well as an emerging rider. Zach helps out on the weekends also, and competes his own horse "Rohan". |
